Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for Orthopedic Telemetry at a Texas hospital. This 13-week contract role features night shifts (1900-0700) in the Orthopedic Telemetry Unit, caring for post‑operative joint replacement and general surgery patients.

Job Description

The Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care in the Orthopedic Telemetry Unit, managing post-operative care for patients, including those recovering from total joint replacements and general surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings for patients.
• Provide post-operative care to patients in the orthopedic unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records through the EMR system (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have Med-surg telemetry experience and telemetry competency.
• Current BLS certification is required.
