Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the OR in Dallas, TX. This full-time day shift (3-12) with call requirements offers a fast-paced environment, high-acuity cases, and leadership support for learning and growth.

We welcome applicants with BSN, at least 1 year of OR experience (thoracic preferred) and BLS certification. Join a Magnet-designated team dedicated to safety, mentorship, and advancing perioperative nursing.

Qualifications

• BSN required for RN role in OR settings.
• Minimum 1 year of perioperative/OR experience.
• Thoracic OR experience highly preferred.
• BLS certification within hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the OR for high-acuity patients.
• Assist surgeons and scrub with the team during procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and Magnet-designated practices.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development.
