• Perform safe and competent operative nursing care according to policy, AORN and ASPAN standards.

The Operating Room Registered Nurse functions as an experienced perioperative professional who is proficient across at least five (5) surgical service lines, demonstrating adaptability and competency in a multidisciplinary surgical environment. The RN demonstrates proficiency in delivering high-quality, age-specific patient care and develops effective working relationships with all members of the ASC and Clinic. Communicates information effectively, appropriately, and courteously regarding patient conditions to physicians, anesthesia, leadership, staff, patients, families, and visitors. Performs safe and competent operative nursing care according to organizational policies, AORN standards, and ASPAN standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital experience; multi-site or float experience preferred
• Demonstrate a proficiency in delivering high quality age specific patient care. Develop effective working relationships with all members of the ASC and Clinic
• Communicate information effectively, appropriately, and with courtesy regarding patient conditions to those who require the information including physicians, anesthesia, management, staff, patients, families, and visitors
• Perform safe and competent operative nursing care according to the organization's policy & procedures. Perform safe and competent operating room nursing care according to the organization's policy & procedures & AORN (Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses) standards and or ASPAN (American Society of Peri Anesthesia Nursing) standards

Required Qualifications:

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or higher
• Active Texas RN license or compact license A
• Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association
• 2+ years RN in Operating Room
• RN experience in ASC, or hospital setting
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• ACLS; PALS

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29 to $63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
