Job summary

Sanford Health is hiring Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses for a full-time dialysis unit in a rural Minnesota community. The role involves direct patient care during hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, with morning start times and a three-day work week.

You will work with Dialysis Technicians and a coordinated nursing team to deliver high-quality renal care to patients with end-stage renal disease. A sign-on bonus is offered for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• RN with Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required.
• Current unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing (or multistate licensure if in an NLC state).
• LPN is a graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• IV therapy/management skills may be required in North Dakota (AASPN/IV course).

Red Lake Dialysis has an opening for a full time RN or LPN!

We are an 8 station dialysis unit doing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. In this role, you'll provide direct patient care during dialysis treatments.

Hours are 4:30am - 5:00pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Enjoy a three day work week!

$10,000 sign on bonus available for eligible employees plus an extra $2.50 an hour when in the unit!

Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to dialysis patients.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the implementation and evaluation of dialysis patient care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.

Qualifications

For the RN, a Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.

Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).

Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific licensure, competencies and certifications.

The LPN is a graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV

If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
