Job summary

Central Indiana Orthopedics (CIO) is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room to support perioperative care across our facilities in Indiana. The RN will assess patient status, develop perioperative care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective surgical outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a nursing degree from an accredited program, 1 year of OR or surgical experience, and current licensure, with BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment, ACLS within 90 days, PALS if pediatric scope.
• Perioperative nursing specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.

Responsibilities

We are actively hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.
