Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the 4E Neuro unit in Cape Girardeau, MO. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm and introduces incentives for experienced and new RNs.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, safeguarding patient rights, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure quality care. BSN and MSN bridging options are available; sign-on bonuses apply as part of Mercy's nursing

Qualifications

• Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required.
• Other: Physical requirements/demands:
• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
