Job summary

ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for a temporary position with the potential to become full-time, based at our Palm Beach Gardens Office. This role supports in-office procedures and general patient care within a busy ENT, allergy and audiology practice.

Responsibilities include answering patient calls, taking vitals, coordinating tests and surgery, preparing exam rooms, obtaining consents, and maintaining sterile instruments according to CDC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Two years hands-on nursing experience.
• Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures.
• ICU experience.
• ER experience.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience managing staff.
• EMR experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a clear speaking voice.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answering patient calls.
• Taking vitals.
• Oversee staff and support day to day operations.
• Scheduling diagnostic tests and surgery.
• Preparing exam rooms.
• Obtaining proper consent and ensuring scope of practice.
• Assist in office-based surgery and patient recovery.
• Cleaning and sterilizing instruments per CDC guidelines.
• Provide briefing of each patient to physician prior to entering the exam room.
