CHRISTUS Health in New Braunfels, TX is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our inpatient care team. You will apply the nursing process, monitor patients, administer medications per protocol, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff.

Preferred BSN and BLS; 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty; RN license in Texas or compact; full-time, 5 days a week with 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• BSN degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current BLS certification and RN license in Texas or a compact state.

Responsabilités

• Provides nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors side effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication and care given.
• Delegates tasks to other care providers as appropriate to manage the clinical situation.
• Educates patients and families, addressing learning needs and resources.
