Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a staff nurse to provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, applying nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. You will coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff and uphold standards of practice.

The role requires GA RN licensure, BCLS, and a commitment to professional growth within the organization. Hospital-based duties and patient-focused care are central to this position.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and be eligible for Georgia RN licensure.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; entry for new graduates is acceptable.
• Current GA RN or multistate license and BCLS certification required.

The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
