AdventHealth North Pinellas in Tarpon Springs, FL is seeking a nurse leader to oversee operating room nursing operations and unit leadership. The role includes directing staff, coordinating patient flow, and responding to emergencies while maintaining high standards of patient safety and experience.

The incumbent will bring 2+ years of leadership experience and RN licensure, with an associates degree required and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Master's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rounds and assesses patient care units to evaluate staffing and support caregivers.

Job Description:

$10,000 sign on bonus for qualified candidates

• Rounds and assesses patient care units to evaluate patient conditions, identify staffing needs, and provide support to caregivers.

• Advises and directs nursing personnel, responds to Code Blue situations, and manages clinical emergencies.

• Acts as liaison for patient movement and bed assignments, promoting cost-effective management of staffing, equipment, and supplies.

• Represents nursing administration during off-shifts, authorizes consent or treatment during admissions, and serves as incident commander for disasters. Provides direction and collaborates with hospital leadership during significant events, including organizational codes and system downtimes.

• Fosters exceptional patient experiences through compassionate communication and effective relationships with patients, visitors, staff, and leadership.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Broad knowledge of the healthcare environment [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
