Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a staff nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, following nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Education includes graduation from an accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Georgia RN licensure and BLS certification are required, with additional specialty

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• No experience required - new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN - Georgia Licensure or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
