What You'll Do

• Perform scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedures.


• Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition.


• Manage overall nursing care of patients before, during, and after procedures.


• Assist operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure.


• Position patients appropriately for surgical procedures.


• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

Education:

• Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).

Experience:

• Experience in a surgical setting preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current RN License in Pennsylvania.


• CPR certification required.


• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.


• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.


• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
