Job summary

UCHealth in Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse in the OR to provide direct patient care in perioperative, PACU, or OR settings. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care and support patients before, during, and after surgery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Active RN licensure and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years OR experience; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative patient care and support in OR, PACU, or perioperative settings using evidence-based nursing practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Apply nursing process to achieve optimal patient outcomes and participate in clinical education and precepting.
• Adhere to AORN and ABPANC standards to maintain high-quality perioperative care.

Responsibilities: Deliver top-of-scope nursing care using evidence-based practices, collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, prioritize patient wellness, and model proficiency through precepting. Support specialty education and ensure safety and quality at the point of care.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), active RN licensure, BLS certification, and a minimum of 2 years OR experience. Certifications like CNOR are preferred.
