Job summary

Carolina Surgical Center at Piedmont in South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator for a full-time position. The Circulator will position and prep patients and circulate cases during procedures, supporting multiple specialty areas in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center.

Qualified candidates have an accredited RN education, an active state license, BLS and ACLS (PALS as required), and 2–5 years of circulating experience in a multispecialty ASC or hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• 2–5 years of experience working as a Circulator in fast paced ASC setting or multispecialty hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient, prep the patient, and circulate the case.
• Support surgical teams across multiple specialty areas as needed in a fast-paced ASC environment.

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) at Carolina Surgical Center at Piedmont

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: if applicable

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience working as a Circulator in fast paced ASC setting or similar experience in the hospital setting in a multispecialty facility including but not limited to ENT, ophthalmology, including cataract and retina services, pediatric dental, podiatry, general surgery, urology, ocular plastics, gyn, and orthopedics.
• current BLS certification and ACLS certification required.
