Southcoast Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. The role requires OR experience, is 32 hours per week, and includes a day shift with on-call rotation (nights, weekends, holidays). Must rotate through OR, ENDO, CPU per perioperative services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• ACLS certification required or within 6 months of hire.
• OR experience required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients in perioperative services.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by cooperating with the patient care team and ancillary staff.

We are searching for a talented RN

*$4,000 New Hire Sign On with 2+ years of RN Operating Room experience. Rehires Termed greater than 1 year are eligible*

Hours: 32hrs

Shift: Day shift with on-call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holiday); with varied start times to meet department needs

Location: Operating Room - Tobey Hospital - Wareham, MA; Must be willing to rotate through all areas in perioperative services OR, ENDO, CPU

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or Designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patient regularly, served.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Over three months up to and including one year experience is preferred.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• OR experience required.
• ACLS certification required or within 6 months of hire.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
