Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care within our established policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, possess GA RN licensure, and BCLS certification, with hospital experience preferred for PRN positions. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN license in Georgia (GA) or multi-state license.
• BCLS certification required.
• Advanced certification in specialty (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.

The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
