Responsibilities

• Directs and manages the care of designated operative patients and performs an ongoing patient assessment
• creates and maintains a safe environment, and implements and enforces all policies and procedures.
• Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
• Develops a plan of preoperative nursing care based on patient assessment including physical, psycho social, cultural, growth, and development dimensions.

Requirements (Bullet/ Certifications/work experience)

• Registered Nurse State of NY
• AHA BLS - Basic Life Support Certificate . ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification
• 2 years of Experience required
