Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a casual, as needed Registered Nurse to work in our Operating Room. The RN in the OR is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating tasks, supervising staff, coordinating care for a group of patients, and consulting with the health care team as needed.

Care for patients post-operatively and at discharge. The person will order supplies and maintain a safe environment for patient care.

• Delegate patient care tasks to assistive staff as appropriate.
• Supervise other patient care staff and coordinate care for a group of patients.
• Consult with other members of the health care team when indicated.

The Registered Professional Nurse - Operating Room is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervision of other patient care staff, coordinating the care for a group of patients, and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated. Care for the patient post operative and discharge patient. The person will order supplies and do whatever is necessary to maintain a safe environment for patient care.
The shift will be determined by each hiring manager. The pay rate will be determined in accordance with the labor agreement.
