Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an RN to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in compliance with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Licensure in Georgia and BLS certification are required, with BSN and 2+ years RN experience preferred.

Additional certifications in life support are a plus, along with color-vision acuity for certain units.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred: BSN degree.
• Preferred: Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Preferred: ACLS, PALS, NRP, or other unit-specific certifications.
• Preferred: Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities
