Job summary

LCMC Health in New Orleans seeks a Corporate RN Manager for Oncology Navigation to lead the nurse navigation program across the system, supporting patients from diagnosis through survivorship. You will drive system-wide results, ensure timely patient connections, remove barriers to care, and mentor navigators to meet high standards.

The role emphasizes data standardization, Epic documentation, and alignment with national standards such as AONN+, ONS, and the Commission on Cancer.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Louisiana or Compact State) with BSN
• 3–5 years of oncology nursing, including 2+ in navigation, care coordination, or leadership
• OCN, CBCN, or ONN-CG certification, or ability to obtain within 12 months
• Preferred: MSN; Lean, Six Sigma, or quality improvement experience; Epic reporting skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the program: Drive system-wide results using AONN+ outcome metrics and report to leadership.
• Reach patients early: Connect newly diagnosed patients with a navigator as soon as possible.
• Remove barriers: Resolve financial, transportation, language, and psychosocial obstacles to care.
• Turn data into action: Standardize Epic documentation and audit charts for reliable reporting.
• Develop others: Mentor navigators and align the program with AONN+, ONS, and Commission on Cancer standards
