Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an oncology-focused registered nurse in Madison, WI, to join a collaborative team delivering compassionate, patient-centered cancer care. The role involves direct patient assessments, therapy support, and ongoing professional development within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with chemotherapy and other advanced treatments, building strong patient relationships, and leveraging nursing expertise across in-person, telephonic, and online portal

Qualifications

• Graduate of school of nursing required.
• 6 months of RN experience required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Licensure in state or licensure compact upon hire required.
• BSN preferred.
• Oncology/ambulatory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative team of compassionate nurses who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive and team-oriented environment
• Build strong, therapeutic relationships with patients, helping them navigate their cancer journey and improve their quality of life
• Care for patients undergoing advanced therapies including chemotherapy, blood transfusions, bone marrow transplants, CAR‑T cell therapy, and other supportive treatments
• Use your nursing expertise to perform targeted assessments during in‑person visits, telephone triage, and through our online patient portal
• Participate in ongoing professional development with access to specialized oncology education and training opportunities

Requirements

• Graduate of school of nursing Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
• 6 months of RN experience Required
• Relevant Inpatient RN experience Preferred
• Ambulatory experience Preferred
• Relevant oncology experience Preferred
• Chemotherapy experience Preferred
• Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills Preferred
• Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
• Current CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
• Certification in specialty area of practice Preferred
