Job summary

Atlas MedStaff LLC. is seeking an experienced registered nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Pueblo, Colorado. You will work on a Med/Surg unit, nights, with a 12-hour shift and flexible scheduling, including weekend rotations.

The role involves managing patients with CHF, hypertension, chest pain, COPD, pneumonia, pancreatitis, GI bleeds and renal failure. You will perform NIHSS assessments and titrate set-rate drips (analgesics, anticoagulants, antihypertensives) in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

• Active RN license (implied by requirement for registered nurses).
• Med/Surg unit experience preferred.
• Proficiency with NIHSS assessments and titrating set-rate drips (analgesics, anticoagulants, antihypertensives).

Responsibilities

This 13-week travel contract offers registered nurses an exciting opportunity to work night shifts on a Med/Surg unit in Pueblo, Colorado. You’ll be immersed in a fast-paced environment, managing patients with conditions like CHF, hypertension, chest pain, COPD, pneumonia, pancreatitis, bowel obstructions, gastrointestinal bleeding, and acute renal failure. Your expertise with NIHSS assessments and titrating set-rate drips — including analgesics, anticoagulants, and antihypertensives — will be critical. The role features a 12-hour night shift, with flexible self-scheduling, including at least six weekend shifts per six-week rotation. This assignment ensures you gain experience in a supportive setting while enjoying the scenic and lively city of Pueblo.
