Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora, CO is seeking a Perioperative RN for a full-time, onsite role on a FlexSchedule NIGHTS. You will provide direct perioperative care across the PACU and Operating Room, employing the nursing process and evidence-based practice.

The role emphasizes teamwork with a multidisciplinary team, guiding new staff, and maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced clinical environment. Onsite only, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program; RN licensure required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider and CPR certification required; ensure validity through start date.
• Minimum: 1 year of acute care nursing experience; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct perioperative care across PACU or Operating Room settings.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver direct patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and precept staff new to UCHealth.
• Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.

Work Schedule: Full Time, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: FlexSchedule NIGHTS

Pay: $38.91 - $60.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
• 1 year of acute care nursing experience. Preferred: 2 years of RN OR experience
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
