Job summary

MultiCare's Off Campus Emergency Departments provide state-of-the-art, neighborhood-focused ER care across Washington. This role seeks an experienced ED RN to join the OCED team and deliver skilled nursing within a multidisciplinary setting.

The position offers a 0.75 FTE, night shifts with 12-hour shifts and alternating weekends, plus a robust benefits package including sign-on and relocation bonuses, tuition assistance and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent within five years.
• Current WA RN license or MLS endorsement.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Two years ER or equivalent RN experience.
• NRP required within 90 days of hire.

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
• You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols
• Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service may be considered in lieu of education agreement
• Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS, PALS
• NRP required within 90 days of hire
• Certification in specialty area preferred
• Two (2) years full-time RN experience in ER or other comparable experience

Pay and Benefit Expectations
