Job summary

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse to join the Observation Unit on a part-time night shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.).

The RN will handle fast-paced care for cardiac, neurological, medical, and surgical patients, with opportunities for professional growth in a high-volume ER-like environment. Ideal candidates have strong time management, work well in a team, and hold Virginia RN licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program required; ADN holders must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Minimum 1 year of RN clinical experience in acute care.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or have eNLC privileges; BLS for Healthcare Providers required on start.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments and synthesizes data.
• Develops individualized care plans based on assessments and trends.
• Delivers patient care in a patient/family-centered manner and supports the care team.
