Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, FL is seeking a dedicated RN for its Observation Unit. You will provide direct patient care using state-of-the-art technology in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

The role requires a nursing degree (Diploma/ADN/BSN), an active RN license, and BLS certification with at least one year of acute care experience or military RN experience. Night shift, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• One year of acute care RN experience or licensed military RN experience.
• Current state RN licensure and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients.
• Implement, monitor, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and aftercare.

Requirements

Education:
