Trinity Health Livonia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our 12-hour day shift team. This full-time role schedules 36 hours per week with weekend rotation and holiday commitment, based in Livonia, MI.

The RN will provide direct patient care, coordinate with the care team, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a busy Medical-Surgical unit. Required: Michigan RN licensure, BSN preferred or willing to obtain within five years, BLS, and strong customer service and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Associate degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care during assigned shifts with coordination and evaluation.

4W: This 27-bed telemetry-capable Medical-Surgical floor provides care for patients with a wide range of conditions, including hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, urinary tract infections (UTIs), COPD, and more. This unit operates as a highly functioning team, ensuring efficient workflows and consistent, high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

SUMMARY:

The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. The responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to the other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Associates degree in Nursing required. BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years. Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required. BLS required. Previous medical surgical experience preferred. Must be computer proficient and have excellent customer service skills.
