Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates is seeking a compassionate Obstetrics (OB) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team in Pennsylvania. You will work with attending physicians to implement comprehensive care plans for obstetric patients, from labor through postpartum and neonatal recovery.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of OB/L&D experience, active RN licensure, and certifications in AWHONN fetal monitoring, BLS, ACLS, and NRP, with strong leadership and patient education skills.

Job Title: Obstetrics (OB) / Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Obstetrics (OB) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with attending physicians to develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans designed to return OB patients to optimal health. You will deliver direct bedside nursing care, execute physician orders, and oversee support staff to maintain the highest standards of maternal and neonatal safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct Bedside Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and recovery stages.


• Care Plan Management & Evaluation: Assess patient conditions, establish individualized plans of care in collaboration with physicians, and continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness.


• Team Leadership & Delegation: Delegate tasks to and supervise Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Associates, OB Care Associates, Surgical Service Assistants, and Unit Clerks to ensure coordinated unit operations.


• Clinical Execution: Administer medications, monitor maternal and fetal vitals, perform specialized clinical interventions, and execute provider medical orders accurately.


• Patient & Family Education: Provide compassionate instruction to expectant and new parents regarding labor, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
