Merit Health Central is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across the obstetrics/labor and delivery/postpartum units. You will coordinate care with physicians and the nursing team, administer medications, monitor patient status, and educate families on postpartum care and discharge plans.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the United States required or eligible for licensure in Mississippi.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student clinical rotations in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care in line with nursing process.
• Document assessments, plans, and evaluations in medical records.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency and scope.
• Educate patients and families on care, discharge plans, and follow-up.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards in daily practice.
