New Vista Nursing and Rehabilitation Center seeks an experienced RN Nursing Supervisor to coordinate total resident care and provide supervision across all nursing units. The role requires leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to adapt to varied situations while maintaining quality standards.
The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current NJ RN registration and demonstrated supervisory experience in long-term care.
This employee has the responsibility for coordination of total resident care. RN Nursing Supervisor performs responsible
supervisory and professional work in directing and coordinating all nursing units. The individual must have had advanced
training and broad nursing experience including supervisory duties. The work requires administrative ability, knowledge of
training techniques, ability to adapt techniques and procedures in accordance with unusual situations, and the exercise of
initiative and good judgment. The work is carried out according to standards of professional nursing practices, facility
policies, rules and regulations, and State and Federal regulations.
The RN Nursing Supervisor must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and there must be current
registration with the professional board of nurse examiners of NJ.
Experience in the nursing field.
Supervisory experience in long term care is required.
Must have thorough knowledge of nursing theory, techniques and practices.
Must have experienced working with Pointclick and MDS
Must have knowledge of medications, their proper dosage and expected results.
Must be able to recognize and identify symptoms and to make decisions quickly in emergencies.
