Job summary

The Sapphire Center for Rehabilitation, a skilled nursing facility in Queens County, NY, is seeking full-time RN Supervisors to oversee daily clinical activities of nurses and aides. You will interpret patient data, make critical decisions, and administer medications and wound care to residents.

Additionally, you will mentor LPNs and CNAs, coordinate with physicians and allied health professionals, and ensure regulatory compliance and infection control standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
• 3 Years RN experience preferred.
• Current BLS Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Completes admissions assessments and reassessments on all patients.
• Provide leadership and supervision to the nursing staff, housekeeping, and security.
• Coordinate with medical staff to meet resident needs.
• Greet admitted patients and prepare them for exams and treatments.
• Maintain medical supplies and equipment.
• Provide education as indicated after assessing learning needs.
