Job summary

Elevate Care Waukegan is hiring a Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead our nursing team and ensure the highest quality of resident care. If you have strong clinical skills, leadership abilities and a passion for patient care, we want you on our team.

Your responsibilities include supervising RNs, LPNs and CNAs, maintaining regulatory compliance, assessing resident needs, training staff, and communicating with families and physicians.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (state-approved).
• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and decisive decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) to ensure quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Monitor and assess resident care; provide clinical guidance.
• Train and mentor staff on procedures and best practices.
• Communicate with families and physicians about resident conditions and care plans.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
