Job Summary

RN Nurse Supervisor position at the HIV Medicine Clinic in Albany, NY. The supervisor manages day-to-day clinical operations, staff supervision, workflow, patient triage, and quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow through the clinic and all point-of-care testing.
• Supervise triage nurses and oversee their workflows.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and lead by example.
• Review processes and procedures to ensure optimal workflow and accurate charge capture.
• Develop and motivate staff to work effectively and within their licensure.
• Foster a strong, collaborative relationship with the Practice Coordinator.
• Attend Senior Manager meetings and work with fellow managers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating when necessary.
• Protect confidentiality of all patient and staff-related concerns.
• Oversee supply and medication ordering in a cost-conscious manner.
• Ensure Joint Commission compliance and submit weekly tracers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• NYS Registered Nurse licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a charge or supervisory role.
