Job summary

Baptist seeks a Nurse Practitioner to practice autonomously and with health care teams to treat and manage patients across diverse settings, including research, consultation, and patient advocacy for individuals, families, groups, and communities.

The role conducts comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and management of illnesses, maintains up-to-date knowledge, and provides clinical leadership while collaborating with peers.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral NP credential required or eligible for licensure.
• Current nurse practitioner certification and eligibility for prescription privileges.
• RN licensure as a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Develops patient care plans within nurse practitioner scope.
• Uses prescriptive authority, procedures, referrals, treatments, and theories in accordance with laws and regulations.
