Job summary

Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA, seeks a Nurse Manager for the MAIN OR. This full-time position offers 8-hour day shifts and leadership over the surgical nursing team, ensuring safe, efficient patient care.

You will plan, direct, and manage nursing care for a designated population, oversee 24-hour unit operations, manage staffing and budget, and develop policies to sustain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• California Registered Nurse License required at hire.
• BLS certification per American Heart Association at hire.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience.
• Computer experience with hospital systems.

Provides an optimal practice environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care. Responsible for planning, directing and managing the nursing care delivered to a designated patient population. Oversees the 24-hour operation of the patient care unit with accountability for leadership, overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling.

Role models proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Develops programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patients' nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated and met.

Required Qualifications:
