Job summary

Wright Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Contract Registered Nurse (RN) to join our night shift team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents while ensuring a safe, supportive, and clinically sound environment during overnight hours.

This contract night shift role requires an active RN license, 1 year of nursing experience, CPR certification, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (long-term care or rehabilitation preferred).
• Ability to work independently and manage clinical situations during overnight hours.
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to pass background check and pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to the appropriate healthcare providers.
• Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical decision-making during night shift hours.
• Collaborate with CNAs, supervisors, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols.
