Maxim Healthcare's Novice Nurse Training Program offers new RN graduates hands-on homecare experience under experienced supervision in Rockford, Illinois. You will work one-on-one with patients and receive real-time coaching to develop ventilator, tracheostomy, and G-tube care skills while building confidence in independent practice.

This paid program includes a $1,000 sign-on for full-time caregivers, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray, if applicable.
• Less than 12 months nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and treatments and document responses.
• Monitor progress and evaluate outcomes against goals.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate with physician/supervisor.
• Document care coordination and physician collaboration in the medical record.
• Maintain a safe patient environment following infection control standards.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate homecare nursing.
