Job summary

Maxim Healthcare invites new RN graduates or those with less than one year of experience to join the Novice Nurse Training Program. You will care for patients in home settings, receiving one-on-one mentorship from an experienced Maxim nurse.

The program emphasizes hands-on clinical training, real-time coaching, and safe patient care, with career growth through ongoing development and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time caregivers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray, if applicable.
• Less than 12 months nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in home setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document patient response.
• Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes relative to established goals.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate updates to the physician and clinical supervisor.
• Document all care coordination and physician collaboration accurately in the medical record.
• Ensure a safe patient environment while following infection control and universal precautions.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate care in a home setting.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Active RN license

Current CPR certification

Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
