Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Novice Nurse - Registered Nurse with less than 12 months of experience for the Novice Nurse Training Program. You will work 1-on-1 with a patient in the home setting under the supervision of an experienced Maxim nurse, gaining hands-on patient care and care management experience.

The program offers real-time feedback, mentorship, and opportunities to learn vent/trach/g-tube management and critical thinking alongside a 24/7 clinical supervising team.

Qualifications

• New grad RN or <1 year experience.
• Novice Nurse Training Program designed for new grads or those with <12 months experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care 1-on-1 with a patient in the home setting.
• Learn direct patient care and care management under supervision.
• Develop vent/trach/g-tube management and related clinical skills.
• Apply critical thinking with ongoing clinical supervising team support.
• Participate in ongoing feedback and mentorship from experienced Maxim nurses.

Hourly Pay: $30.00 an hour.

The Novice Nurse Training Program at Maxim Healthcare Services is designed to provide a unique training opportunity for new grad RNs, and those with less than one year of experience. You'll partner with an experienced Maxim nurse who will provide real-time feedback, training opportunities, and mentorship.

Within this program, you will be gaining hands-on experience by working 1-on-1 with a patient within the home setting. You will have the opportunity to learn direct patient care, care management, vent/trach/g-tube management, and critical thinking skills with the 24/7 support of the clinical supervising team.
