Job summary

Qualifications

RN license in good standing or as required by state
BLS certification to be maintained per policy
ACLS within 90 days of hire or transfer
NIHSS within 90 days of hire or transfer

Responsibilities

Assess patients and develop care plans
Administer medications as prescribed
Document nursing actions and patient responses
Coordinate care plans with the healthcare team
Educate patients, families and staff as needed
