Virtua Health in Marlton, NJ is seeking a licensed RN to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care as part of a collaborative healthcare team. The RN will coordinate care with providers, educate patients and families, and maintain high professional standards on a per diem night shift.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid NJ RN License. Demonstrates knowledge of nursing skills and hospital practices.
• Strong communication and ability to coordinate care with a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessment leading to care plan development and evaluation.
• Administers and documents therapeutic interventions and regimens.
• Manages rapidly changing situations and participates in clinical decision-making.
• Educates patient and family about disease, care needs, wellness and safety.
• Delegates and monitors care rendered by the healthcare team.
• Maintains safety principles and participates in ongoing competency development.
