Job summary
Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for 3 South – Med/Surg, Tele, Bariatric units. This full-time night shift offers a supportive team, low RN-to-patient ratios, and opportunities for professional growth.
You will administer medications, monitor patient status, document care, and collaborate with the healthcare team to adjust plans as needed. Requires RN license, BLS, ACLS preferred; 0–1 year experience acceptable.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree nursing required or Bachelor's degree nursing preferred.
- RN license required in state of practice.
- BLS required; ACLS/NRP/PALS may be preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
- Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
- Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate care plans.
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patient responses and conditions.
