Job Description:

Join a busy NICU team at a renowned children’s hospital in Tacoma, WA, for a 13-week travel assignment. This role offers the opportunity to work in a Level IV NICU, caring for high-risk and fragile newborns including prematurity as early as 22 weeks gestation, high-risk deliveries, NAS, and surgical patients. You’ll be responsible for respiratory support, managing trachs, g-tubes, NG/OG feeds, and PICC lines, with a focus on providing quality care in private rooms. The shift options are 12-hour nights, typically from 1900 to 0730 or 0700 to 1930, with every other weekend rotation. Floating to assist in the ER as a sitter is possible but rare. This position is ideal for a friendly, team-oriented RN with at least two years of NICU experience, strong skills in ventilator and airway management, and a positive attitude. Previous travel experience is preferred but not required, and first-time travelers are encouraged to consider this rewarding opportunity.
