Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Staff RN for NICU on the night shift, full-time (1900-0700). The RN will manage and deliver patient care, float as needed, and participate in on-call duties while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires Oklahoma RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and applicable certifications. The position emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in Oklahoma or a multistate license via the Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • BLS required; Hospice may require CPR if BLS is not applicable.
  • Additional service-line certifications and competencies may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management and delivery of patient care using the nursing process.
  • Coordinate care with licensed and non-licensed staff; participate in on-call status as needed.
  • Supervise and mentor team members; adhere to safety and patient-goal standards.
  • Perform population-specific competencies and document care accurately.

Join our team as a night shift, full time 1900-0700, RN NICU, at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center, in Oklahoma City, OK.

The Staff Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for the management and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process. The role may require floating to other units, participating in on‑call status, and performing population‑specific competencies. The nurse adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact required.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment/re‑assessments
  • Development of the plan of care
  • Implementation of appropriate patient care interventions
  • Evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions
  • Supervises and coordinates other licensed and non‑licensed personnel in the provision of care to patients as assigned
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to non‑licensed personnel and students, as appropriate

Mental Health staff must be able to assist with physical restraint of patients, utilizing the identified Behavior Management Technique System.

This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Potential exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals. Must follow standard precautions.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • RN (Registered Nurse) Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire – Hospice Only: Current CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association required in lieu of BLS
  • Other certifications and competencies required based on service line skill

Hospice and Employee Health: Valid driver's license in the state where employed, available and dependable transportation, ability to drive automobile, and proof of current automobile liability insurance. INTEGRIS Mental Health: This job requires the incumbent to operate an INTEGRIS‑owned vehicle or personal vehicle (non‑INTEGRIS‑owned) and therefore must have a current Oklahoma State Driver’s License as well as an acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Hospice only: CHPN (Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse)
