Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Registered Nurse at California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The RN will perform assessments, develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team, implement nursing interventions, and continuously evaluate patient progress to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education must meet California licensure requirements upon hire.
• Registered Nurse license for CA upon hire and BLS/CPR upon hire.
• NRP upon hire, PALS upon hire, Fire Safety within 90 days.

• Provides effective,comprehensive evidence based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes. Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient. Collaborates with other disciplines to insure comprehensive, holistic and effective plan of care. Applies knowledge of current practice standards, guidelines, statutes, rules and regulations. • ASSESSMENT: Completes patient assessments competently. Assesses for and identifies needs of unit-specific patient population: Assesses for and identifies any physical, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, discharge and cultural needs.
• PLANNING: Completes an individualized plan of care based on assessment of the patient. Coordinates with other disciplines when indicated. Prioritizes care needs and sets measurable goals and time frames. Includes patient and family in the planning.
• IMPLEMENTATION: Implements interventions based on nursing and medical plan of care. Manages patient population, diagnosis and age specific needs through appropriate adaptation of interventions. Appropriately utilizes equipment and supplies (including
