Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Level II NICU unit in Corpus Christi, Texas. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to neonates, especially those aged 23 to 40+ weeks gestation.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR and NRP certifications.
• Required experience with ventilators, particularly in a NICU setting.
• Experience in caring for 23 to 40+ week gestation infants is essential.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Level II NICU unit. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to neonates, particularly those aged 23 to 40+ weeks gestation. The Nurse will collaborate with a team of 63 staff members to maintain the well-being of our 32-bed facility.

• Administer nursing care as per established protocols and standards.
• Perform procedures such as intubations, feeding tube insertions, and IV insertions.
• Assist with eye exams and provide overall support to patients and families.
• Monitor and manage patients on ventilators and oscillators.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have CPR and NRP certifications.
• Required experience with ventilators, particularly in a NICU setting.
• Experience in caring for 23 to 40+ week gestation infants is essential.
• Preferred skills include CPN charting and familiarity with Meditech and Centricity EMR systems.
