Job summary

Ochsner Health seeks a registered nurse to provide direct patient care, applying the nursing process and assessing learning needs of patients and families. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, delegate appropriately, and document outcomes.

Strong communication, organizational skills, and good judgement are essential, with emphasis on privacy, safety, and regulatory compliance in a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
