Our Neuro Spine Med Surg unit has 24 beds with a 1:4-5 nurse to patient ratio. Patient types include: Stroke, Neuro surgical (spinal fusions), biopsies, traumatic falls, head bleeds, craniotomies, seizure patients. This is a very fast-paced unit with quick patient turnover. \\*At least 6 months of RN experience in Neuro Med/Surg \\*Acute care bedside experience required \\*BSN because of Magnet status \\*4-6 week training/orientation depending on individual Collaborates with interdisciplinary team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process. Provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records.
