Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/week
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00AM-7:30PM
Sign-On Bonus:
Inpatient Med Surg provides care for adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including small bowel obstructions, respiratory infections, cellulitis, diverticulitis, and pneumonia. This unit offers a strong clinical foundation with diverse patient needs, frequent assessments, and dynamic care coordination.
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:
Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.
Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.
