Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) for the El Paso County Jail in Colorado Springs, CO. This full-time opportunity offers multiple shifts (Night/Day/PRN) with competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

The RN delivers quality care within the scope of practice, coordinates with the healthcare team, and acts as a patient advocate to promote high-quality health care. Requires RN licensure in CO and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality care within the scope of practice.
• Administer medications and monitor for reactions.
• Record patient information and vital signs.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to assess and implement care plans.
• Supervise nursing staff and other healthcare personnel as needed.
• Prepare patients for examinations or treatments.
• Educate patients and families on health topics.
